New artist, Iguocho, recently released her debut song titled “Fiya” on all major platforms including Apple Music and Spotify. Although Iguocho was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, creation of her new song was influenced by her West African roots in Cameroon.
After listening to this song for the first time, it instantly became one of our favorites and earned a place on our Spotify playlist (would have added to the SoundCloud playlist, but could not find the song on the platform). With a bit more exposure, this song is sure to join the growing list of hot new Afrobeat songs. I expect more fire from the new artist in the near future.
