This is hip hop! When artists let loose on a track with that “I just don’t give a f**k” type of attitude, the song just stands out. Chelli not only brought that attitude, but declared it explicitly in his new song titled Hit or Miss.
Right after hearing this song, I knew I needed to share it immediately. Real rap like this should always get the respect, priority, and prompt response (or sharing on blogs, outlets, and social media) it deserves. Chelli gets off to a fuzzy start but quickly gets into a groove around the :50 mark of the video below. From there, he takes off with some old school hip hop type flow. Chelli, who is based in Toronto, ON, seems to just be getting started with his music career with this being his fourth song released on SoundCloud and his first video published on YouTube. Based on the energy witnessed in this song, I expect to hear more from Chelli in the near future.
