New Release from Kream Soda titled “Yellow Gold Echelon”

Music is used by artists to express themselves and get a message across. The new release from Alaskan artist, Kream Soda, titled Yellow Gold Echelon sounds like he’s giving a sermon through rap. Of course, after hearing the song, you’ll realize it’s not one of the sermons you’d hear in church. The song was recently released on in late January 2021 and is currently available on Apple Music and Spotify.

The song has a soulful sound as it includes a sample of the old school gospel-influenced song, People Get Ready, originally performed by The Impressions and composed by Curtis Mayfield. In Kream’s version, he uses the track as a canvas to unleash his expression. He shares a bit about himself, his abilities, and where he is from. It’s an old school sound with an old school sample, but it makes for what I call a pure hip hop track. Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think of the newly released single.
