This Valentine’s Day was the first one observed during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the new regulations and restrictions that have become the norm for many of us, couples all over scrambled to find a way to show their significant other how much they love them through actions or words written on cheap cards. However, not everyone spent the time focused on current love. This holiday forced some to think about old relationships and the pain they had gone through. Dax released a new video for Love Hurts, on Valentine’s Day discussing the hurt a person experiences after their first heartbreak. The song was filled with bad memories, emotions, and hurt, similar to those who didn’t have a significant other to share the day with.
All jokes aside, listening to the lyrics, the message in the song is a real experience for many. Guys being able to express themselves freely without criticism is rare, so this song may be seen as a release of all the built-up pain. Dax adds passion to it with his signature rage delivery.
