KiddFriendly recently released a video for a single that he released some time ago titled Hip Hop. The first time I heard this song, it was performed live at a local venue during KiddFriendly’s featured performance. The song was performed at a storytelling pace that allowed me to capture the lyrics and the story being told. Hip Hop focuses on bringing light to the negative effects of hip hop and how the music is used as a tool of influence today. The underlying message is to analyze how artists use the influence and make corrections so that the effects become positive. Unfortunately, the song is not currently available to stream on Apple Music or Spotify, but the video has recently been made available on YouTube (below).
