New Music Friday brings us a new reggaeton track titled Dime from artist Dunamis Producer. The vibes of this song sends me back to my Orlando days. At that time, reggaeton was not widely listened to around the country, but it ruled the radio in Central Florida. You just had to be there! Dancing Perreo at Club Firestone and…we’ll just know those were good days with good music. This new song has all of those vibes.
What I like most about this song is that it is not over done or over the top. Some artists add too many sound effects, adlibs, etc., in songs nowadays. Most don’t understand that doing too much can take away from your art, but it seems Dunamis Producer got it right with this one. The song seems calm or laid back if you only listen to the vocals or the music line. But the combination of the two is perfect. Also, the song doesn’t going on forever. It starts, gets you vibing, and wraps it up.
Unfortunately, I don’t have much information about the artist. It appears that he is just getting started but is definitely on the right path. I’m hoping to hear more from the young artist soon and learn more about him as his career progresses.
