I didn’t even take a date to prom, well I had one. I sort of sold her ticket, (yes I have dirtbag tendencies) but truth be told I was broke and couldn’t afford to do anything outside the entry fee so I had to improvise. Thanks to BMW ENTERTAINMENT & the “IF ONLY FOR ONE NIGHT ADULT PROM” I have another shot at greatness this weekend Saturday November 11th, 2017 at the Squaw Peak Hotel.
Historically, reporters have spoken to athletes before, during, or after the game to bring viewers closer to the them. The more we see or hear from athletes, the more we feel that we know them personally. The media has been the middleman in this process for a long time, but it no longer seems necessary.
The Houston Astros have won the World Series, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 in Game 7. The Astros will bring the Commissioner’s Trophy to Houston for the first time in team history. The timing couldn’t be better as Houston faced tragedy this year after being hit by Hurricane Harvey, which caused major floods, property damage, and worse. Winning the World Series will help comfort a city still in recovery.
